Ageless Workplaces Innovation Grant

Brought to you by the Ministry of Health of Singapore (MOH) and supported by the Tripartite Committee on the Employability of Older Workers.

Ageless Workplaces Innovation Grant - Closed

The Ageless Workplaces Innovation Grant is the third grant call under the National Innovation Challenge (NIC) on Active and Confident Ageing. This grant call under the research thrust on “productive longevity” has two objectives. First, we aim to improve the productivity and health of older workers. Second, we want to enable older workers to be employable for as long as possible, beyond age 65 years old.

Challenge Statement

Participants forming Project Teams can submit more than one application and the Grant Proposal should be in response to the challenge statement below. However, a Project Team can only be awarded Funding for one Project.

The challenge is to transform the workplace into an‘ageless workplace’ that can enable a 50% improvement in the productivity of older workers aged 65 years and aboveand/orincrease the employment of workers aged 65 years and above by 50% or more, both compared to sector and company specific benchmarks, whichever is higher. This transformation can be a (i) physical transformation (e.g. through usage of assistive technology or tools), (ii) one that targets organisational strategies (e.g. workplace and work process re-design, progressive HR practices), or (iii) both.
